best dogs for kids that don’t shed

What is the best pet for my situation?
My kids want a new pet. We already have two olders cats that don’t want to play anymore. My husband and I do not want a dog. If I could find a pet that fit this description we could all be happy: I don’t want something that sheds like crazy, something that smells, something that I have to clean a cage everyweek. I want something that the kids can play with and I don’t have to worry about it biting them. My kids are 7,4, and 18 months. My daughter really wants a bunny but then there is the cleaning the cage thing. I already have my hands full with my 3 children. What do you suggest? Thanks
Don’t get a bunny. Your kids will want to hold it, but they hate being held and cuddled. Some will even bite. They’re a lot of work too. Most animals need thier cage cleaned once a week. You could get a ferret. They’re really playful and very fun. They are social and interactive. Don’t listen to what you hear about biting. It’s merely playful nipping. They can be trained out of this. Ferrets can also use a litter box and can learn tricks like a dog. They are very clean and smart. They can be a lot of work. I suggest looking up ferrets as pets on google. Just make sure to always supervise when your kids play with them.
