Why do people get SO uptight about dogs fur being dyed?
I think it looks awsome and fun.
Seriously the dye used is non toxic and not permanent it doesn’t harm the dogs in anyway so whats the big deal?
We clip there hair which is not natural either and alot of dogs have clipped tails and ears for gods sake!
There is no good reason to clip ears and tails its purley esthetic.
Plus having bred wild aimals to be domesticated over 100′s of years isn’t very natural either! Nor is their diets really.
So again I think its silly to say its abuse when you shampoo and clip dogs reagularly anyway….which is not natural either!
Yeah, those are all reasons why, BUT I don’t see how there’s much harm in it. Especially if it’s non toxic and wears off. There are TONS of dogs that would do much better to have their hair dyed than die in shelters every year. And we DO dock for vanity. Don’t let anyone fool you. In some instances it is necessary, but about 90% of Cocker Spaniels sit on their fat asses all day (I have one, so I know how they are), they aren’t running through bushes and stuff that their tail could get caught on, so why do we sill dock their tails? “Because they look better that way” ehh, hypocrites.
