Short hair dogs does NOT mean hypoallergenic. I am extremely allergic to Shar-pei dogs (the one that look like their skin doesn’t fit). Their fur is very short but everytime I held one for a procedure, my arms would break out in hives. I would have to take benedryl, then fight falling asleep for the remainder of the day
