Why does of my GSD throw up after flavors besides chicken ‘Milk-Bones’?
Okay. Well we bought some ‘Milk-Bone’ brand bones for our dogs. The first box we bought was chicken flavor for small dogs. The second box we bought came in the flavors of bacon, beef, chicken, sausage, and turkey. We decided they would like a nice treat so we gave them a different flavor besides chicken. My dog Juicy ate it and so did my other dog Coco. A few minutes later my dog Juicy threw up. Worried we gave her her medicine the vet told us to give her when she threw up. The next day we gave them another bone. This time we gave Juicy chicken and Coco one of the other flavors. Juicy was fine the rest of the day. We thought that maybe the other flavors were too much for her stomach. Is this true that it may be too much for her stomach?
Yes, just like we may throw up from too spicy food her stomach might be sensitive.as long as she doesnt throw up with the chicken ones then nothing is seriously wrong with her.If she does throw up again give her the medicine because im pretty sure it is to calm down her stomach and to keep fluid in her.
