dogs dry skin home remedy
Can anyone give me home remedies to treat my dog’s dry skin?
we have a black lab mix and lately she’s been having really terrible dry skin. her coat looks dusty and whenever we pet her her skin just flakes off. a vet visit would be too expensive. does anyone know what inexpensive remidies we can use? the dry skin is along her whole back, and a little on her chest.
is it safe to use a human dandruff shampoo on her? or will it make it worse? is bathing her the right thing to do or will it dry her coat out more?

we started giving her veggie oil in her food and she loves it! are we supposed to brush her a lot?
I bath my two boys (medium sized pound puppies) with
pantene shampoo and I ALWAYS RINSE THEM WITH APPLE CIDER VINEGAR . (Diluted) It will take a while to shed off all of the dead skin.
I use a spray bottled diluted 1/2 water 1/2 vinegar, when i brush my boys i spray and brush,spray and brush. I also give them brewers yeast tablets. I never have had to use chemical flea products on my dogs, they have beautiful coats.
You can also use a few tsps of vinegar in the dogs drinking water.
