Male and female dogs fighting?
So we have an old German Shepherd male and a Collie female dog. We’ve had the shepherd for a good few years and just got the Collie about a month ago. Well, now that the Collie’s here, they fight, a lot. And it’s getting really violent and aggressive. They fight over attention, toys, food, and whatever they pick out of the garbage. It’s gotten so bad now that we have taken my mother to hospital for stitches after getting bitten. What can we do to separate the dogs when they fight in the house and what’s the best way to make it stop? We can’t keep getting bitten by these dogs and we really don’t want to give the Collie away. What can we do?
