dogs licking other dogs privates
My dogs are being nasty, any advise?
my male labrador keeps licking my baby gurl chiuwawa in her privates. i REALLY don’t like it. the male will start to lick her butt then her…other part i really shouldnt say on here but, u know. then he trys to do the thing with her(mate). he is WAY to big 4 her. he was nutered but i’m still conserned. it is making bad impressions and the kids are curious too! this isnt good!
Spay the female.
Its natural dog behavior to explore other dogs via anal glands. The licking isn’t really information gathering, its a sensory exploration.
Its not a sexual display like you may think it is, next time the kids ask what he’s doing, just tell them that he’s asking her questions in doggy language, because it’s the truth.
