We are looking to buy a family dog, can anyone recomend a non-malting, good with children breed please?
I am currently looking at giant schnauzers, basset hounds and soft wheaten terriers as choices but would welcome other suggestions. My parents have had dogs all their lives and we also use to show clumber spaniels so i am aware of all the love and attention and training dogs require. Im looking for a low to non malting, child friendly and easy to train dog. I am a full time mum so the dog wont be left alone for long periods of time. We have a reasonible size garden and also live near several lovely parks so walking and exercise is not a problem.
a labrador is a nice and playful dog.
