Is there a natural ingredient that can be added to my dogs food to help with shedding?
My dogs shed big time and up until now we’ve been buying the stuff from Pet Smart (not sure what it’s called as I haven’t bought it in a while) that you mix with your dogs/cats food. It’s oil based. It really controlled the shedding but it’s SO EXPENSIVE. $26/bottle that lasts like a week. A friend told me to add olive oil to their food. I wanted to get some more opinions and see what has worked for others. Thanks alot!
Olive oil is better than anything you can buy from a pet store. raw eggs are good too. In fact I mix two raw eggs and a 1/4 cup of olive oil with a small amount of dog food every morning and give to my dog.
