My dog is bleeding from her nose. What could it be?
Today my dog’s nose started bleeding. She’s sneezing blood, and it’s coming out of her nose. Not a lot, but enough to cause concern. She’s 11 years old, a beagle mix. Usually healthy. Prior to the nosebleed, she had been sneezing a lot, her eyes had been really runny and she’d been coughing as well. Is it just a cold, or could it be more serious? I’ll be taking her to the vet on Monday.
It’s probably a polyp. You should see your vet Monday. Unless it is pouring blood, or the dog seems really ill, it’s not an emergency.
