What’s the best way to administer children’s liquid benadryl to a dog?
I was told to just get a syringe, measure out the appropriate amount, then hold his mouth, stick the syringe in near his gums and slowly release. well it sort of works but he gets really upset and mad and it stresses me out. it seems like a pill would be so much easier unless there’s a better way to get him to take the liquid benadryl so any suggestions?
why is liquid form preferable to pill form?
~ There is no other way, just put it in his mouth and give it to him. Don’t let him tell you no. It 2 seconds it will be over with. Liquid is the only way you should give it, not pill form. He will get over it, no biggie.
