Help! my mom cut my dogs toenails now her paw won’t stop bleeding !!?
she cut one of them to short i guess or cut it too much and it’s been bleeding for 3 hours staight, my mom had to let the dog out to pee and there was a big pile of blood outside and lots of blood drops, my mom tried wrapping it up with gozz wrap but she keeps trying to bite it off, What should we do ? Were not taking her to the vet , any home remedies ? Also she won’t sit still ! so the dog keeps putting pressure on it, she’s 4 months old but already pretty big… if that helps.
grab some corn starch or baby powder and press it into the bleeding quick. Hold the dog in your lap and either you or your mom should apply firm pressure to the quick with a paper towel or clean rag. It will take 3-5 minutes, but the bleeding will stop quickly.
