Why would our dog have warm ears after being out in the cold?
Our black lab (10yrs old) was outside for about an hour. It’s pretty chilly out there so when she finally decided to come back in, her fur felt cool to the touch but her ears were warm. Is that normal? Now when I say ears, I mean the floppy part.Thanks
Hi there, being that there are many blood vessels in the ears and there is not a lot of thick hair there – you feel the warmth right away, especially if your dog has been running for a while, blood circulates to the ears, and you feel the warmth right away.
