is this a good gift for stepmom?
for xmas i was thinking about getting professional pictures taken of me, my step brother (hes 21) and my sister (she’s 17) and our dog. would that be a good gift for her? we wanted a nice picture of us and get nice frames and give her 1 and our grandmother (stepmoms mother) 1. so mothers would u be touched if ur children did this for u? is this a good idea or not? the last picture we have of us is when i went into 3rd grade..im 22!! its time for an update. what do u think?
im asking now because it will be expensive and i need to tell my siblings to start saving or hand over the money now before they spend it.
p.s i think matching outfits would be silly but i was thinking really nice outfits and santa hats (we have a headband with antlers on it that my dog wears for him) would that be cute?
we gotta include the dog cuz my stepmom loves that dog to death..we get bagels in the morning..the dog gets bacon and eggs and he gets to go to doggy daycare 2 times a week…hes spoiled!
That is a super idea. We recently took family pictures with my husbands parents and the siblings and their families. We got one big group shot and then each family took family shots. There were 15 of us and so no possibility of having matching outfits but we all wore white shirts and jeans or khaki pants.
I thought for sure this was going to be super silly but it turned out great.
In our individual family picture we included our family dog and he was front and center. The photographer was great with the dog. Right before he took the picture the photographer would bark and our dog totally responded with his ears up and looking right at the camera. We ended up with a great family picture.
Even if you don’t have it professionally done, a nice picture of all of you in a nice frame is a great gift.
