can dogs give worms to humans?
ok. first off can dogs give worms to humans?? and how?? and would it be ok if my little puppy who has worms sleeps with me tonight??????
They can, yes… but it’s unlikely unless you somehow ingest their poop. : In all fairness, this can happen without knowing in many ways… gross, but whatever. It generally takes more than traces to cause a problem, though.
However, basically every human has worms at any given time. They’re a natural fauna of basically everyone’s body, but your immune system generally prevents it from becoming a noticeable infection (ie: worms are no different than bacteria, viruses, etc… you always have SOME, but generally not enough to show signs of illness). So sleeping with a puppy who has worms is completely safe and fine as long as, you know, you don’t eat his poop (and even then, the odds of you getting an infection are VERY slight).
