Where can I find nice townhouses for rent in Halifax Nova Scotia?
We’re moving to Halifax in May 2009…. We would like to rent a townhouse if at all possible. We are not interested in a high rise, but maybe a low rise if nessacary. Our approximate budget is 900/ month (and we can afford utilities on top of that base rent). We need a minimum of 2 bedrooms, with one big enough for a queen bed.
We need to live on a bus route that runs at least peak hours to downtown. We have 2 pet guinea pigs… no cats, dogs, or children.
We’re also interested in Bedford.

You can try to find one on the Canadian Realtor’s website. I looked for the Halifax area and only was able to find one apartment for rent and it was rather pricey (out of your price range but nice!).

There were over 500 properties listed, but most were for sale not for renting.
The other option is to check the Halifax newspapers and their classifieds.
