why dogs should not eat human food
Is it ok for dogs to eat human food and what kinds?
I have a jack russel, rat terrior and a dashound, I was wondering if it was healthy for them to eat a lot of human foods. My filthy grandpa makes them buttered toast everyday and feeds it to them, he has filthy hands and he is really dirty and always feeds the dogs anything he can even though we have dog food. He goes nuts if you try to stop him and he will not stop no matter what he’s determined like anything, he should really be in a care home but he’s not. So are the 3 dogs able to eat the buttered toast he feeds them? he has been doing it for a long time.

Dogs can have RAW (uncooked) veggies and fruit as a TREAT. Even frozen berries for hot summer days is good. BUT NO GRAPES!!
Otherwise dogs should ONLY eat high quality dog food – Origen or Acana are two great brands.
Dogs are carnivores – hence the incisor teeth meant to tear flesh. They need high protein diets. Certain wheat’s, rices and other carbs can shorten the life of your four-legged loved one considerably. Short-term though, they will become fat and lazy – leading to more health issues like kidney failure.
Butter is just bad in general – it’s fat – don’t feed a dog fat….that’s gross and cruel.
And to be honest it’s pretty selfish shortening a dogs life because you’re too ignorant to stubborn to listen to facts.
